Kittiwake Cottage
UK England South West England Devon Kingsbridge
From the moment you step inside, you'll notice something unique about this whitewashed, 19th-century fisherman's cottage. Perhaps it's because it's been lovingly restored to an impeccable finish, including an original feature fireplace, wide wooden floor boards and characterful low-beamed ceilings? Or maybe it's because it's been tastefully decorated in an array of soothing pastel shades, tranquil sea hues and natural fabrics? Whatever it is, it certainly oozes comfort and serenity.
The cottage sleeps four people with room for more, and comes with pretty much everything you'd need for a beach holiday, including fresh, fluffy white towels and crisp, cotton bed sheets. Being slap-bang by the sea, in the stunning village of East Prawle, Devon's most southerly town, means you get to enjoy sea views from your windows. The South West Coast Path is on your doorstep, meaning it's a great cottage for walkers and walking holidays, while there are pretty pubs and village shops for your neighbours. All you'll have to worry about is how to leave.
