harbour deli

21 St James Place Ilfracombe Devon EX34 9BJ

Amy Fairchild opened her funky little deli in April 2012 just off Ilfracombe's picturesque harbour on St James Place. It specialises in award-winning local produce and quality foods you won't find in the supermarket, from cheeses, Devonshire hams, dressings and fantastic olives to biscuits, stuffed peppers and relishes made just up the road in East Down by Cranfields (who also supply to Fortnum & Mason, no less). Come for take-away Fairtrade UNION coffee, orange juice freshly squeezed on site and tasty artisan baguettes, all served with a can-do attitude. It’s useful for day trippers to Lundy Island and those embarking on a fishing trip – order your picnic box in advance and it will be ready to collect half-an-hour before you depart.
