The Royal Crescent Hotel
The rooms at the Royal Crescent are stuffed with period furniture and fittings, the garden is an unexpected delight and the spa one of the best in the city. But it’s the location that really blows you away: two Grade 1-listed buildings at the very centre of Bath’s most famous street. Inside, rooms have been painstakingly furnished to capture late 18th-century ambience, including paintings from Bath resident Thomas Gainsborough. The former coach houses out back are home to the new The Dower House restaurant and bar.
