This lovely 18th-century manor house is the pick of the places to stay in Lyme Regis, sitting on a clifftop with stunning sea views, but just a couple of minutes’ walk from the bustling town centre. Its comfortable and stylish rooms vary in size but all are newly refurbished and come with flat-screen TVs, Egyptian cotton sheets and bathrobes. Some also have large bay windows with fantastic sea views. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the hotel is good for children, with several good-sized family rooms, and a playground in the gorgeous clifftop gardens overlooking the sea.
