Regent Hotel
UK England East Anglia Cambridgeshire Cambridge
Small, independent, good-value and central – small wonder the Regent, all blonde wood and stainless steel in a Georgian house, is popular. Standard rooms are on the small side, so it’s worth upgrading to the executive rooms for the views over Parker’s Piece. The building dates back to 1830s, and has been in the hands of the same family since the 1940s – now thoroughly refurbished, it's a decent place for making the most of the city. Everything here is on the doorstep and well within walking distance.
