Just outside the ringroad that girdles Canterbury's historic centre, this YHA hostel is housed in a redbrick Victorian mansion and has a choice of accommodation – from beds in eight multi-bedded rooms containing between four and six beds and with shared facilities to seven private rooms with en-suite bathrooms. There's a dining room, a lounge and a self-catering kitchen, and outside they have some new 'Arctic Cabins' which can comfortably sleep four if you'd rather go for a glamping vibe. Above all it's a friendly place, ultra-clean and very well-run, and well-positioned just a ten-minute walk from the cathedral and Canterbury's city centre. Conveniently located on the North Downs Way (also the Pilgrims Way) with fantastic walking and cycling routes on the doorstep. A thriving cosmopolitan City – as befits Britains closest City to mainland Europe - plus UNESCO World Heritage sites are just 10mins walk away. With 15 rooms in-house plus a further three ‘Arctic Cabin’ lodges in the garden with ensuite facilities it has everything you could possibly want from a standard bedroom to a glamping experience you wont forget!

Arriving by train, the hostel is about a 10-minute walk from Canterbury East station; follow the ringroad east out of the station and turn right at the roundabout onto the Dover road; the hostel is about a 5-minute walk down here on the right. By car, follow the signs for Dover, and the hostel is on the A2050, just over a mile from city centre.
