One of Newquay's best-equipped campsites, with a fun pool, water flume and glamping pods

Hendra is one of the best-equipped camping and glamping sites in Newquay, a five-star holiday park with a fun pool and water flumes, and a big indoor play centre for kids under 10. A family haven with excellent facilities and vast green spaces for tents and touring vans, it’s also well connected with Newquay town centre and local attractions via a regular bus service. The minor downside is it’s a big, busy tent city in peak season, but even at full capacity it caters brilliantly for the crowds that come here. It's basically fun for kids, couples and families, whether you are 8 months or 80 years old! There are also comfy glamping pods for those who are too posh to pitch, connected up to the mains and with a nice deck for sitting out and enjoying the summer evenings.

If you've been inspired by the beautiful locations of the TV series Poldark, you can come and experience them here - Nampara Cove, Constantine Bay and Charlestown Harbour are all not far from the holiday park.
