We all know the usual contenders, like Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland, the famed Somerset House, or the Natural History Museum ice skating, so for something a bit different, check out our hand selected 'a little bit different' festive ice rinks below...
For Ice Skating with an iconic view of the London Skyline, head to Skylight Tobacco Dock. Just outside the City of London, it's massively central and accessible for anyone in central and offers something just a little different with their rooftop winter ice rink. Open from 5th November, they also offer canalside or rooftop igloos, Christmas cocktail cinema and more. Check it out.
If visiting nature's finest and immersing yourself in tropical biomes, outdoor adventures and quaint gardens at the Eden Project wasn't enough, Christmas has come to Cornwall. The Eden Project is once again home to a winterous festive ice rink until the end of January 2022. Apparently it's good enough even for Father Christmas to stop by, as they also offer the Father Christmas experience where you can meet the man himself and his magic elves too. Take a look.

As well as a fantastic ice rink at Cardiff Castle, they also offer a festive castle 'Ice Walk' - a 150m track through the castle grounds allowing you to glide through the historic surroundings.
