A couple of miles out of Lymington, this guesthouse is run by Mrs Tee of Mrs Tee’s Mushrooms. It sits in 16 acres, the rooms are all large and airy and overlook the grounds, and families can be accommodated with ease. Mushrooms are a major feature of the superb breakfasts as well as the evening meals she serves on request. Guests can also use the sports and spa facilities of a nearby hotel.

Filthy rooms
My room was dusty and unclean. The last straw was when I saw a dead mouse in my wardrobe. When I complained the landlady Mrs Tee, exploded in rage and attempted to push me out of the establishment. I was shocked! I told her to take her hands off me which she eventually did. I told her I wanted my money back, after which she calmed down and became very apologetic. She offered me another room which I reluctantly took. This room was also extremely dusty but at least there were no dead rodents in it.
The bed was too hard, the pillows were old and there were cobwebs all over.
Breakfast was terrible, it was swimming in oil. I was pleased to leave!
