Hooked on the Rocks is a much-loved venue overhanging Swanpool Beach – a stunning location with a huge seafront deck that is always a trump card when the sun is shining. But the lure of beautifully cooked Cornish seafood is irresistible in any weather, and you don't have to splash out to enjoy the exclusive location: you can eat all sorts of delicious seafood snacks, while the mains menu is similarly well priced, dominated by seafood, with staples of fish and chips, and moules frites alongside lobster and crab, roast hake, fish burgers and shellfish platters. However, it's not all about what's plucked from the ocean in view – there's always a vegetarian option and Cornish-reared meat dishes to tuck into as well.
