Quartered in the colourful Castle Arcade, this delightfully old-fashioned secondhand bookstore is a bibliophile’s heaven, with three levels of floor-to-ceiling books on a wonderfully impressive range of subjects. Popular fiction and old classics sit alongside foreign and Welsh literature, politics and history, sport, travel, crime, horror and much, much more. You could also spend hours flicking through the racks of magazines and comics, with editions dating back to the 1980s. Best of all is the children’s section, featuring dog-eared old classics alongside rare and expensive collector’s items. Books can be bought and exchanged here too.
