Bow Bar

80 West Bow Edinburgh EH1 2HH 0131 226 7667

We say

An evocative, if not entirely original, representation of a venerable Edinburgh 'howf', or drinking house, this is a place to seek out real ales, good whisky and the hubbub of conversation. Its wood-panelled walls are lined by old mirrors advertising whiskies and beer, while blackboards list cask and guest ales, and patrons settle onto leather benches around small fixed wooden tables.

good beers. good atmosphere. You'll struggle to get a seat. That's always a good sign though huh..!

Far too easy to stay put in here ★★★★★

Very cosy, very noisy - in a good way - this is a fabulous place to spend an evening. Just be prepared for a sore heid the next morning.
