Congress Road G3 8QT 0871 423 4896
A smart business focused hotel on the River Clyde by the SECC and the new SSE Hydro, both very popular business and leisure venues. This slick tower hotel on the waterfront underwent a major refurbishment recently that was completed in 2014. The 283 bedrooms and suites are spacious and most offer views of the Clyde - choose a room facing upriver for the best view of the city skyline, downriver if you want to gaze out towards the distant hills. The higher the better as the hotel has 16 floors. If you are driving to Glasgow the hotel also works very well as it is easily accessible from Scotland's busiest motorway, the M8, with a lot of parking available on site too. On the ground level a bar and restaurant await. Their fitness centre comes complete with a gym, swimming pool and both sauna and steam rooms. Extensive business facilities are also on hand.
