The ‘Barras’ may not be the slickest venue in the UK, but this once-grand old ballroom cannot be beaten for acoustics and atmosphere. Indeed it's hailed by many musicians as the finest concert venue in the UK, and catching a gig here in the rough-around-the-edges East End is a quintessential Glaswegian experience.
