The Grand Arcade isn’t as flash as the more famous arcades further down Briggate, or indeed particularly grand, but it does have some interesting businesses, notably UpStaged, home of a fine collection of vintage, retro and theatrical clothes and accessories. They’re particularly hot on the 1930s to 1950s, but there’s all sorts here, from designer DMs to Victorian costume jewellery.
