A tucked away, cosy and comfortable little gem found in York Road, Kings Heath. Kings Heath is becoming quite established as a mecca for vintage and nik-nak shops, and Cherry's with its hint of 50's style fits right in and is fully appreciated for doing so. Staffed by a friendly family group of people, you never fail to get helpful, cheerful service and food prepared there and then at great prices. The bar area serves cocktails and in particular a rotating variety of ales, German, fruit and local beers. As the place is quite small they frequently allow the place for booking out completely and I'm sure given the oportunity and excuse I shall book it for something as the ambiance and feel is so relaxed and welcoming. This place deserves a visit if in the local area. If you can find the famous Hare & Hounds pub in Kings Heath you will find this place.
