New for 2012, the Liquor Store specialises in men’s denim as well as demonstrating a keen eye for uniformly funky footwear, tees and accessories. Stocking a globe-spanning collection, fashion junkies are already making a beeline to peruse the handpicked garments that fill the shelves lining the exposed-brick walls. At the helm of the 'Speakeasy' store (called as such due to its resemblance of the Speakeasy saloons that sold alcohol illegally during the American Prohibition) is Phil Hazel, a denim connoisseur who brings with him a wealth of knowledge having worked at Lee Jeans, not to mention a passion for denim and the eclectic range of next generation brands.
