Taking the design of Las Vegas' Welcome sign for their own insignia, the Sunflower Lounge is an independent bar that continues to pick up plaudits from punters and press alike. Local art adorns the walls, and the lighting is suitably dimmed while DJs spin some tunes. The music policy encompasses everything from indie rock to soul to funk and ska. They serve food too (tasty pub-style fare at a decent price), but this diminutive bar's real appeal is its unpretentious, non-grungy, cool vibe.
