Tucked away near the river off Richmond Green, this is a small cosy gastro pub that does great food. It has a tiny bar where the regulars cling on nursing pints, but the place has – much to the delight of the owners – been taken over by individuals looking for well-cooked food and a bottle or two of decent wine. The service is brisk and friendly, and although the seating arrangements are a touch tight,  it just adds to jolly the atmosphere. It has a small garden, too, for outdoor dining and dogs seem to be positively encouraged. Probably Richmond's best riverside choice for food.
