This dog-friendly pub close to Orford's harbour is great for a drink, with a wood-fired stove in winter, and does excellent food – giant bowls of mussels, skate, halibut and smoked fish from Pinney’s across the road, as well as decent steaks, Barnsley chops and burgers. Or you can just grab one of their hot filled baguettes. They have free wifi, plus they have three very comfortably furnished double rooms upstairs. making it one of Orford's best places to stay, too.
