Yep, little old Bath has it's own city-bike scheme – rather than Boris Bikes, think Bladud Bikes (he's the legendary Brit King who founded Bath, don't you know...?). There are four bike stations around the city: at Bath Spa station, Orange Grove, Green Park Station and the Holburne Museum. To use them you need to register online or buy a card from the Tourist Information Centre. There are several options, the Daily card 4ForYou costs £8 and allows for four hours of cycling; the Week-end card 8ForYou costs £15, including 8 hours of use. The first 30mins of riding are free; the next 30mins cost £1; after one hour it's £3 per hour. One major downer is the hilliness of the city – you'll probably want to stick to the flatter centre, or perhaps pootle along the joyously flat canal.
