This official YHA hostel consistently gets rave reviews from visitors of all ages. It’s clean and comfortable, with a small restaurant, and offers breakfast, too. It has a TV lounge, laundry, cafe bar (which can sometimes be noisy at night) and wi-fi. Family rooms are available, along with cot facilities – it's best to request these at time of booking. Both en-suite rooms and private rooms are available, as well as standard dormitories. There's also free luggage storage, for those wanting to explore the city more once they've checked out. The hostel is well-located, just a 30 second stroll from the train station (another reason to bring your ear plugs) and a short five minute walk to the city centre. A word of warning: in the week there are often school groups and lots of teenagers – rise early for the best of breakfast! There is no parking on site – the closest facilities are found on the Park-and-Ride around five minutes away.
Located in the centre of the beautiful Oxford, this hostel offers comfortable accommodation in this historic and lively location. YHA Oxford is a modern purpose-built hostel, situated next to the train station, making it ideal for a frugal city-break or weekend away. Visit famous Oxford colleges and it's Bodleian library, the Ashmolean Museum or take a trip to the stunning Blenheim Place. After a culture-rich day in the city, enjoy fantastic food in our licensed restaurant, or have a respite with tea and cake in our cafe bar.
