92 High St Oxford OX1 4BJ 01865 799 599
This boutique hotel is super-trendy right now, but without the snootiness or pretentious atmosphere that sometimes goes with such places. The location on Oxford's High Street is unbeatable, with the hotel sited close to the colleges of Christchurch, Merton and All Souls, and practically opposite the Bodleian Library and Radcliffe Camera. Rooms are crisply designed, staff are friendly and there are handy extras like free parking and a free two-hour walking guide (the guides are very knowledgeable). During check-in, the staff on reception can also recommend local events – make sure you ask! The Old Bank is owned by the same people as Quod, Gee’s and The Old Parsonage – all great Oxford venues, with heaps of kudos in their own right.
