You really will get a quality pie here – current favourite is ‘Matador’ – but you don’t need to be a meat eater to get a good, keep-you-going-till-dinner lunch. Grab a takeaway and mooch around Oxford’s coolest collection of shops, or eat in and people-watch for a little while. Warning: this place gets very hot in summer!
