Weavers

Established in 1844, and still family run, Weavers is Nottingham’s premier wine and spirits store, selling a knowing range of products from French reds to exotica like  'Snow Queen' vodka from Kazakhstan and rare brands of Calvados. They make no attempt to stock a comprehensive range of wines, but rather have a  knowledgeable buying policy, selecting the cream of the crop. This means that they usually stock a couple of hundred different sorts of wine, with prices that start, believe it or not, at as little as £4 a bottle. The shop also has a cabinet of miniatures and this a real pleasure as it’s here you can purchase all sorts of unusual spirits without breaking the bank.
