Bridge Street Rothbury NE65 7SF 01669 621 979
Tomlinson's is a contemporary bunkhouse above a great café in the biking and hiking centre of Rothbury. There's a really friendly welcome, and 21 dorm beds spread across three functional but comfortable rooms, sleeping 6, 7 and 8 people. Each room has an en-suite shower – downstairs is the café and a cosy lounge with sofas and a wood-burner. There's also a laundry, washing area for bikes and boots, and a drying room, so you'll soon recover, whatever the elements throw at you. Breakfast is available in the café in the morning. They are biking enthusiasts at Tomlinson's, so there's plenty of local advice if you're looking for some off-roading, as well as a fleet of hire bikes available for guests – and secure bike storage if you bring your own.
