Right on the main coast road, the Red Lion in Stiffkey has been serving travellers and locals for years, but it prides itself on being a proper pub, with no music and a gentle charm that makes it not only a relaxing place for a pint (it serves a good choice of local Norfolk ales) but also a good place to eat too. Food is excellent, based on seasonal and local ingredients, and you can eat in the pub or on the small And just in case you can't resist sampling all of the ales they have on tap, they have rooms upstairs too.
