Salthouse Norfolk NR25 7XA 01263 740 467
A Reader saysSalthouse, a small huddle of quaint flint cottages, with its pub The Dun Cow providing a lovely place for a pint of well-kept Norfolk Wherry and maybe something to eat off its small but high-quality menu of pub food. Under new management and it shows, the pub has undergone a slight re-furb but nothing too over the top, just a warm, welcoming pub with nice furniture and pictures. When I visited in January 2013 I enjoyed a huge chunk of fish in the lightest batter with chips, peas and tartare sauce that tasted homemade. The garden looked an ace place to sit outside with a pint in the summer.
