Not to everyone’s taste perhaps, but this collection of military hardware, the largest private collection in the UK, has no less than eight exhibition halls packed with tanks, armoured cars, artillery and even a Harrier jump-jet. There’s a gift shop for proto-militarists, and, perhaps of more general appeal, you can book yourself a tank ride.
