Hampstead Heath's answer to Primrose Hill, the smaller, more intimate and lesser known Parliament Hill is also a great spot to admire the mighty London skyline. Actually, it's quite a toss up as to whether the view here is actually better than at the infamous Regent's Park appendage. So whilst the tourists all flock to Primrose, the North London residents masterfully sneak here to fit in their daily dog walking, exhaustive running or casual strolling. With its sweet all-year summer smell and unique hum of distant city traffic and children's cackles from the adjoining lido, you'll quickly understand why this is one of London's most exclusive places.
