Funky boutique B&B in a convenient location in Canterbury.
71 St Dunstans Street Canterbury CT2 8BN 01227 472 185
This is one of our favourite Canterbury boltholes, an exceptionally well-run, funky and friendly boutique B&B that was featured – and highly praised – on Channel 4's 'Four in a Bed' series.
Situated in a historic house, its quirky, individual rooms each have a different theme – and there are some slightly simpler rooms in the converted stables overlooking the huge walled garden out back. All have free WiFi, flat-screen TVs and DVD players. There’s an honesty bar and a cosy lounge with books and board games, and the breakfasts are excellent and generous – plus they'll prepare a takeaway breakfast for early departures. If you're looking for a unique place to stay then this combination of 15th-century architecture combined with smart new interior fittings is a real winner.
