A mile or so from book-browsing heaven in Hay, an elegant village B&B which was once home to the Wye Pottery. Part of the main cottage but privately accessed, this light, oak-floored retreat for two overlooks the lovely garden. High ceilings and white walls create a sense of space and calm, while interesting objects are dotted around.
