With several million pounds' worth of parked yachts all around it, The Haven is the obvious retreat for sailors preparing for their next venture into the neighbouring Solent. There's a great terrace that wraps round the restaurant-bar area, with comfy sofas, sun umbrellas and fine views over the water. Inside is a small nautical-themed bar and a larger dining area with big picture windows. The bar is good for drinks, cocktails, coffees and teas, as well as very tasty – if pricey – sandwiches, while the restaurant serves very tempting fresh fish, daily specials and grills. Check the website for themed evenings which include frequent live music. Dogs welcome on the outside decking.
