Tea-rooms are two-a-penny in the Cotswolds – the hard thing can be to decide which one is worth visiting. At Mad Hatter you get all the usual wonderful offerings of scones and clotted cream, light sandwiches, cakes, and an array of different teas, but you can enjoy it in a stunning room overlooking the river Windrush which runs through the town of Bourton-on-the-Water.
