This is a great little guitar shop in the North Laines. It's quite small, on 2 floors but every square inch of wallspace is absolutely jammed with guitars. The front room upstairs has a good range of acoustic guitars. There is also a back room stuffed with vintage and secondhand electrics (some lovely axes to lust over back here) and downstairs has a surprisingly large range of ukuleles - the owner says they're getting very popular – and all the accessories. I like this shop because it's got a really laid-back Brighton feel. The walls are covered in gig flyers and "bassist wanted" ads for local bands. In some guitar shops the staff are frustrated guitarists who are too busy shredding to help a customer. Not here. The staff are friendly and have plenty of time for beginners.
