We say

A trip to the Aquarium at the foot of the pier has been part of the Brighton tourist experience since 1872, but the Victorians would scarcely recognise its current incarnation. Like other Sea Life Centres dotted around the world, it has a strong conservation ethic, and it displays its fine collection of tropical fish, seahorses, rays, turtles and sharks in imaginatively designed tanks – some curvy, some tunnel-shaped, and some open-topped for the ultimate encounter.

Great day out with the klids - if you have 2 for 1 vouchers! ★★★★★

Hubby and I took our nearly four year old daughter for a day out as she LOVES fish! We had some vouchers for entry, as I do consider that the entry is costly. We also decided to pay to go on the Behind the Scenes Tour and for a ride in the Glass Bottomed Boat at additional cost. I love the architecture of the place, it wonderful and dramatically Victorian. And the exhibits are well lit and nicely spaced out. The Behind the Scenes Tour was awful, a complete and utter waste of money. They showed us where they do research projects and where the food is stored, if I am accidentally making this sound exciting please head my warning - it is not!! At a cost of £1.50 per person this five minute 'tour' was ridiculous. The Glass Bottomed Boat however, we loved! Having sharks and sting rays gliding about beneath your feet is special and it made my daughter smile and laugh. All in all a good day but I do consider the ticket prices to be too high unless you have vouchers, and we would never ever do the 'Behind the Scenes Tour' again.
