The Basketmakers Arms
We say
So cosy and neighbourly that some of its regulars have been coming here for decades, this is one of the North Laine’s best-loved pubs. The secret’s in the barrels – the landlord keeps his bitter extremely well. The interior has bags of character, too, with hundreds of vintage tin boxes tacked all over the walls. If you open one and find a handwritten message inside, you’re supposed to leave another for somebody else.

Wonderful pub.
You can't ask for much more in a pub. The staff are friendly and calm even at busy periods, they welcome dogs and there is a great atmosphere. I've been coming for 18 years! I've had some yummy chips here too, and that was only a few weeks back.

Top dollar
I've coming here on and off for over ten years, the basketmakers is a piece of real Brighton, a high quality boozer with great beer and decent crowd.
