Long-standing Hanover pub that is both a good local and a great place to eat, with a short menu that is particularly strong on fish. There’s a nice garden, and a good choice of beer, which you’ll definitely need once you’ve climbed the hill to get here.
This place is fabulous. I had the most unbelievably good burger! A real treat. Lots of veggie options too. My hound was made equally welcome and I really appreciated the coffee counter - a nice touch. Not many pubs you can do your shopping at as well - the Muesli Market out the back is well worth a visit - Organic veg and groceries and you can even get ecover refills. Good job!
