Right in front of the BIC, a stone's throw from the seafront, this upmarket restaurant has fast gained a reputation for serving the best seafood in town. There are a few meat dishes (such as Bridport pork belly and roast Dorset partridge), but you can’t beat the likes of its wild sea bass or spicy scallop and monkfish curry. To really push the boat out, go for the hot fruits de mer platter, an awesome dish of lobster, crab, oysters, mussels, scallops, tiger prawns and clams – a snip at £45. Sleek service, too.
