The pretty village of Kingston is frequently used as a film backdrop, and when it is the Scott Arms is often its centrepiece. You’ll be hard pushed to find a better view than the one from the pub’s garden, a dazzling panorama overlooking Corfe Castle. Inside is cosy, too, an interesting blend of the old and new. As well as real ales and draught scrumpy, you’ll find a good menu that champions local, seasonal ingredients, such as the Dorset charcuterie board (£9) - and even herbs and vegetables from their own garden. There’s also a summer Jamaican barbecue, live music most weekends, a Wednesday quiz night – and also a couple of rooms to let upstairs.
A hidden gem. What a perfect place to enjoy the veiw, amazing food and very good selection of drinks, good beer and good cheer after a lovely walk and some climbing along jurassic coast... and if your lucky like we were...the jerk shack will be open and some muisc may be playing too. Will Definatly be back! Keep up the good work.
