Chapel Hill Mortehoe EX34 7DZ 01271 871 302
If you looking for somewhere to stay on the seaside you can't get much closer than this. An elegant Edwardian B&B above Grunta Beach, where glorious sea views come as standard, whether in the two double en-suites or in the snug beach house with its own large deck. Dusty dove grey and cream colours, Clarins smellies in chic bathrooms and a no-toddlers policy makes for a relaxing adult stay. Kick back and feel thoroughly on holiday as you lookout across the sea with a beach practically on your doorstep.
Just came back from a wonderful Easter break at the Victoria House, Mortehoe.
An elegant Edwardian villa, we stayed in the graceful and tasteful 'Superking with shower'. Before we arrived I requested champagne and over the four days we toasted the sunsets and the wild storm out at sea.
Our hosts were welcoming and accommodating, their breakfasts - textbook illustration in care and attention (all baking homemade). We are planning our next trip after I send this review.
