The Oyster Shack has become a bit of an institution around these parts, and, although it might take a degree in navigation to find, it’s well worth the effort. Obviously the main attraction is the oysters: try them au naturel or any number of different ways depending on the day’s menu. If oysters aren’t your bag, the moules frites are excellent, and fresh crab and lobster are usually available, as well as numerous other fish and seafood options created by chef Ben Davies. The atmosphere’s properly relaxed, as you’d expect in such surroundings, and with service that’s friendly rather than overattentive.
