Margot’s Bistro

11 Duke Street Padstow PL28 8AB 01841 533 441

We say

This small and unpretentious bistro is one of Padstow’s hottest dinner spots. The draw? A superb set menu featuring plenty of fish, an unhurried one-sitting-per-night policy and friendly service. On the menu you might find sole grilled with lemon, thyme and rock salt with new potatoes, rump of Cornish lamb or a plate of Cornish cheeses served with house rhubarb or plum chutney. Tables tend to be booked out weeks if not months in advance in summer but keep an eye on its twitter feed and website for cancellations.

Super-simple, Super-tasty ★★★★★

hands down the best meal i've had in Padstow. Enjoyed gorgeous freshly landed Hake and plenty of vegetables washed down with great bottle of Scilian wine. Great value, would definately return - good place for larger groups too. Top tip: book up early or follow on Twitter for last minute availability - we managed to snag a table at the eleventh hour!
