This authentic village pub is the only watering hole outside Hugh Town on St Mary’s. A friendly place near Old Town Bay, here you can kick back by the log fire, play darts and pool, or tap along to live music including regular sessions by the island’s Folk Club. It’s listed in the CAMRA guide 2010, so you can be sure it serves a decent pint, and the Sunday roasts are popular too. You can choose to either dine in the bar or opt for the slightly more formal ambience of the Ennor Bistro.
