This easy walk takes you from Falmouth town to the beaches via breathtaking scenery. Climb Castle Drive and look out over the sprawling dockyard – a hive of maritime industry that eventually peters out into untouched rocky shoreline. Veer off onto the tangle of footpaths and you’ll be rewarded with scenic views and picnic spots in lush clearings. The tip of the headland is the best place to sit and watch the watery world beneath your feet (look east towards St Mawes, west towards The Lizard) before winding back down the gentle slope to Castle Beach.
