Gyllyngvase Beach, Falmouth

Made for swimming, beach games and lounging in the rays, this Blue Flag beach is arguably Falmouth’s finest. Staring out across Falmouth Bay to Pendennis Castle on the headland, Gyllyngvase is backed by subtropical gardens, tennis courts and the funky Gylly Beach Café. Just a short walk from town, with plenty of car parking, access is easy. A seasonal dog ban is in place from Easter to October.
