Three miles from the centre, the closest campsite to Cambridge has a spacious tents-only field bordered by tangled hedgerows and trimmed at dawn by muntjack deer. The village has local stores and pubs for evening meals, and is linked to the centre by bus #7. Since cambridge is such a cycle friendly city, the location makes it a great spot for camping with bikes, nipping in and out of town and linking up with the river towpath, a scenic route. Its an open site with large grassy pitches and flat ground. Pets are welcome as are large groups and families.
