For people-watching around the Waterfront, it doesn’t get much better than this. No 1 Harbourside is buzzing when the sun is out; and when it goes down, it’s much the same, as the joint jumps with live music and a young, up-for-it crowd. The food served here is divine too, and at great-value prices and almost too-good-to-eat presentation. The afternoon cakes are great, but so is the fish, and there’s even an oyster bar. Or just visit for Sunday lunch: the roasts come with all the trimmings, and there are large custardy desserts and a cheeseboard with chutney and local cheeses to follow.
