Windsor’s answer to the London Eye – a summer-only, 60m-high carousel anchored alongside the river in Alexandra Gardens. Rides in an enclosed gondola last about 12 minutes, and allow you to peer over the battlements of Windsor Castle – at night you can even see as far as the gleaming arch of Wembley Stadium. Café and child-friendly gardens beneath.
