The Corner House

22 Sheet Street Windsor SL4 1BG 01753 862 031

We say

Banksy-esque spray painted murals of Hendrix, Bowie and Cobain lend a rock’n’roll edge to this spacious, all-purpose pub a short walk from the high street. Drinkers can lounge in battered armchairs or on the first-floor sundeck (perched between office blocks), but you could equally come for the American breakfasts, the Brazilian-themed dinner menu, a Sunday roast or a late-night cocktail at weekends. A basic bar menu of sandwiches and salads fills the gaps.

Good find, away from main drag ★★★★★

This place has a nice feel - a good place to sink into an sofa. Owners have changed a few times in recent years, but current lot are really friendly. Tucked away from the castle, you don't find too many tourists here
